Version 9.0 of the OU Campus is now in final beta with an anticipated release by year end. While version 9 is a significant move forward for the web CMS product line, the good news is there will be no changes to the user interface. Why are we releasing a major new version without visible changes? The answer lies beneath the surface. The move to version 9 is a developer's dream system, with more power (XSLT 2.0) and more speed than ever before. More details and an exact date of the release will follow in a few weeks. Stay tuned!

OmniUpdate’s next Training Tuesday class on the Global Find and Replace feature in OU Campus is now open for registration. The class will be held at 11:00 Pacific Time, December 22, 2009.

Andrew Soderberg, OmniUpdate Vice President of Client Services, will discuss how to take advantage of this new administrative feature. Although this class is open to all OmniUpdate customers, access to this feature is limited to administrators with level 10 access privileges.

OmniUpdate congratulates Nathan Gerber, Director of Web Development Services, Utah Valley University, for his acceptance to speak on “The Benefits of SaaS Web CMS-Managing the Budget While Improving Agility, Adaptability, and Responsiveness," at the 2010 EDUCAUSE Midwest Regional Conference, March 15 - 17 in Chicago, Illinois. The 2010 OmniUpdate User Conference is now open for registration. The event, focused on helping customers maximize the benefits of their OU Campus web CMS, will be held March 21-24 at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach, CA. Keynote speakers Mark Greenfield, Director of Web Services at University of Buffalo, and Yves Lempereur, Chief Technology Officer for OmniUpdate, will discuss the future of the web and web CMS. Plus, great peer and product expert presentations are planned. We hope to see you there!
