Lance Merker, CEO of OmniUpdate, will be speaking at the 2009 Symposium for the Marketing of Higher Education hosted by American Marketing Association (AMA), November 15–18 in Boston, MA. He will discuss student expectations about the college website as revealed in the 2009 study "Scrolling Toward Enrollment: Web Site Content and the E-Expectations of College-Bound Seniors." Lance will be joined by Stephanie Geyer (Noel-Levitz), and Cathy Willette (James Tower). This presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, November 17, 11:30 am-12:15 pm. Lance Merker, OmniUpdate President and CEO, will speak on “What a CMS Can Do for You: Tools, Tips and Tricks for Enabling Site Success” at the Stamats SIM Tech 2009 Conference in Boston. His session will be from 2:00 – 3:00 PM on Wednesday, November 11, 2009. Lance will also participate in a CMS discussion panel being held that same day from 4:15 to 5:15 PM. If you plan to attend SIM Tech, please stop by Lance’s sessions.

OmniUpdate will be at HighEdWeb 2009 being held October 4 -7 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Please stop by the OmniUpdate booth and come listen to the presentations with Michael Gasparino, Stony Brook University, on “Using XML to Create an Online Course Catalog” and with Rachel Reuben, SUNY New Paltz, on “Enterprise Web CMS for Higher Education.” There will also be a poster session on "Web Site Content and the E-Expectations of College-Bound Seniors.” We hope to see you all there!
