It was 1 year ago when the site appeared, where the staff of the editorial board could privately exchange information, share links and publications of interest, set up goals and give accounts of the work that had been done.
Over the past year the site has evolved from a notepad into a full-sized working project which gives us an opportunity to keep up with everything and always be at work
Our attitude to transparency of our work has considerably changed over this time. Now anyone can read everything about our work, on condition that it might make interest for them. We don’t conceal either know-how or the type of routine tasks we’re doing now.
We’ve realized that we have colleagues, and we started active interaction with the editors of the universities’ and departments’ sites from other cities and abroad. And it doesn’t matter that the universities have different directions: as it turned out, educational Internet projects have quite similar problems in all countries.
We’ve become closer to the students since we started using Twitter and created the first official faculty community in VKontakte social net. And the students have become closer to us: the participants of our classes (special seminars and courses) have published their materials to be discussed in the site.
And, definitely with the help of this small project, the official Faculty site has been completely redesigned and restructured.
We look forward to the new success of this project’s work next year
